LIVERPOOL FC ACADEMY - VISITOR SAFEGUARDING & CONDUCT POLICY
1. Our Commitment
Liverpool FC Academy is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for all children and young people. The welfare of the child is paramount. All visitors are expected to share this commitment and adhere to our safeguarding procedures.
2. DBS & Access Control
- Scouts & Officials: Must present a valid DBS certificate upon registration. Access will be denied if the certificate is expired or invalid (Red Status).
- Verification: We reserve the right to verify the identity and DBS status of any visitor at any time.
- Badges: Visitors must wear their accreditation/pass at all times while on site.
3. Visitor Conduct
- Appropriate Behaviour: Visitors must maintain professional boundaries with players. Inappropriate language or aggressive behaviour will result in immediate ejection.
- No Unsupervised Contact: Visitors should not be alone with a child or young person (other than their own child) in a private place.
4. Photography & Media
- Restriction: The taking of photographs or video recordings of academy players is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization.
- Personal Use: Parents/Guardians may only take images of their own child, provided it does not include other children.
5. Reporting Concerns
If you have a concern about the welfare of a child or the behaviour of an adult, please report it immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Officer at the main reception or email safeguarding@liverpoolfc.com.
